Cindy Lynn Sherwin Memorial Foundation
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Thank you very much for your contributions to the Cindy Lynn Sherwin Memorial Foundation. We wanted to report to you on the current status of the foundation, its activities and its plans for 2009.
Our opening balance on January 1, 2008 was $102,672.10. A significant portion of the contributions received during 2007 came in November and December as a result of the Team Cindy run in the New York Marathon. The foundation received over $40,000 in contributions as a result of the efforts of the members of Team Cindy:

| Lauren Sherwin | Jeff Sherwin | Bernard Lirola |
| Seth Timen | Margot Sherwin | Kathy Starick |
| Jessica DaSilva | Michael Quinlivan | Danny Artiga |
| Lauren Adelman Perez | Sergio Perez | Jacqui Lake |
| Robin Adelman | Barry Adelman | Bob Francis |
| Kelsey Louie |
We received contributions of $21,261.51 during all of 2008. Our Total Return On Investment was $3,179.55.

$10,500Brain Aneurysm Foundation
$16,500Total Grants made during 2008
The New Haven Road Race and the Sea Legs Shuffle events help inner city children and other young people to participate in athletic events.
The Brain Aneurysm Foundation Grant established a research chair for Brain Aneurysm in Cindy’s honor and was the front page story of the BAF Quarterly Newsletter of Spring 2008.
In April, 2008, Team Cindy was represented in the Big Sur Marathon by Michael Quinlivan and Margot Sherwin. Both finished the grueling course in under six hours, with “Cindy riding on their shoulders”. A Sports front page article appeared in the local Monterrey newspaper.
At December 31, 2008, our ending balance was $109,874.05.
The foundation’s funds are currently invested as follows as of 12/31/2008:
$34,259.27Black Rock JCF Short Duration Bond Fund
$9,525.00Short Term Account
We paid $739.11 in fees to the Jewish Communal Fund for the handling of our account.
Our current plans for 2009 include a grant to Out2Play, an organization that addresses the overwhelming need for playgrounds in New York City public schools given the prevalence of obesity and its related health problems among today’s youth. We are attempting to have a New York City school playground named in Cindy’s honor.
The foundation has been requested to support the New Haven Road Race Kids Fun Run again in 2009, as it did in 2008. The contributions received in 2008 for this event were substantial, and the Board of Directors will consider this in the near future.
Once again, thank you for your contributions. On behalf of the Cindy Lynn Sherwin Memorial Foundation, we wish you a happy and healthy new year.
Sincerely,
Board of Directors
